Project, the featured CD, was recorded on 4-track tape and
transferred to CD between late September and early November of
1997. The tracks begin with an improvisational solo section
that revolves around neo-classical chordal constructs
foreshadowing the ensuing compositions.

Brought forth in Attack of Ashiyyur, the elements of neo-classicism
are applied within a larger form and treated with more elaborate
development. Polymetric sections are introduced to Project
throughout this composition along with driving drum
and bass interplay.

By Proxima's Extinguish, the compositional emphasis shifts
from rhythmic intensity to elongated melodic and thematic
development. Long textural atmospheres alternate with
highly syncopated asymetrical episodes making this
song one of the CD's most ambitious works.

Project ends with Vivace's extreme rhythmic activity and
atonal 20th Century counterpoint articulated in a
chamber music setting characterized by voices
of synthesized piano, flute, and clarinet.
