Currently, I have been working on a solo project named Fine Lines. It is a collection of odd and unique musical adventures. Typically, the music consists of electronic compositions fueled by heavily processed acoustic drums. This album is one continuous composition which moves in and out of styles such as musique concrete, processed percussion solos, desert noises and acoustic guitar, spoken verse, classical piano and percussion atudes, to fusion. I can be to blame for writing, arranging, performing, recording, and producing all of the songs. Occasionally, I will feature a guest musician. For instance, Joeseph Walker plays the synth solo on a fusion song and Cliff Phelps gave me some flute samples (later processed beyond his recognition), and my brother Mike Gaffney plays acoustic guitar on one track. All in all, this composition is guaranteed to take you on a journey to the far reaches of something very strange. Below are a few of the more song-oriented sequences. They are presented in no particular order.

Time Without Space : an interesting drum solo which starts out heavily processed and ends fairly clean.
Scourge : one of the creepier ones on the album made from cymbal and voice effects.
Eight Legs and Running Fast : a dedication to the spiders living in my house using drums, voice, flute, and synth..
The Monacle Cobra : Eastern? Egyptian? Exotic? I think I may have made more out of this than I should have?.
Fine Lines Between Science and Art : more processed drums, musique concrete, and synth.
