Music is not just something that I do to for social conquest. In fact, most of my musical endeavors are rarely heard by others. It is because I receive a sincere feeling of happiness that I persue the creation of music and the many artistic avenues that merge with it. Also, it goes without saying that the friends you make and with whom you mutually develop bring a sense of camaraderie and meaningfulness to the practice and craftsmanship of music. It may be worth noting that what I consider music may be unapproachable noise to others. This is fine and I respect and understand their point of view. As for myself, I can find patterns, rhythms, and ultimately songs in such oddities as traffic noises, a warehouse of machinery, or a construction site. Primarily a drummer, I can latch on to the beat of these naturally occurring ensembles and consequently become sufficiently inspired to create a composition of sound based on their influence. Sometimes those compositions are more suited for relaxation and other times they help build awareness and adrenaline. I hope you find a little of both in my creations. Keep in mind that sometimes noises are musical and sometimes music is disguised as noise. These are the fine lines. You can find them everywhere.
